There have been several reports of problems installing Express Sync with either the Lotus Notes conduit or Lotus EasySync conduit already installed. The symptons are either Express Sync not appearing in the conduit list (when selecting Custom... from the HotSync menu), or the other Lotus conduits dissappearing.
The cause of these problems are unknown. Based on feedback from users who have experienced this problem, exiting and restarting the HotSync Manager, and/or rebooting the computer will fix the problem.
