To uninstall Express Sync, click on the
menu, and select
| | . The uninstaller should restore the previously
installed conduit for the address book.
If the uninstaller fails to restore the previously installed
conduit for the address book, then:

If you were previously syncing the address book with the Palm
Desktop application, then you can restore the default conduit
by following these steps:

Exit the HotSync Manager program by clicking on the
HotSync icon in the system tray and selecting
.

Open a DOS window by clicking on the
menu and selecting
| (or ).

At the command prompt, type cd
palmdir
, where
palmdir is the directory where the Palm
Desktop is installed. This directory is usually
C:\Palm or C:\Program
Files\Palm.

Type hotsync -r. This will restart
the HotSync Manager application and restore
missing conduits to their
defaults.

Open the Custom dialog box for the HotSync Manager by
clicking on the HotSync icon in the system tray and select
. Check to see if the
address book conduit has been restored. If the address
book conduit has been restored, you are done.

If the address book conduit was not restored, then exit
the HotSync Manager application again (as in step 1), and
then type hotsync -d at the command
prompt. This will restart the HotSync Manager application
and restore all conduits to there
defaults. This will only work with versions 3.0 and above
of the HotSync Manager.

If you were previously syncing the address book with a third
party conduit, then reinstall the third party conduit by
running its setup program.
