Technical Note 9

This Technical Note provides step-by-step instructions on how to enter your Express Sync license key.

1. Follow the instructions from here to open the Express Sync configuration dialog box.
2. Depending on where you purchased your license, you may have received a username and license key, or just a license key.

   If you received a username and license key, enter your username and license key in the appropriate fields. Depending on which version of Express Sync you have, you may have to check A username was provided with my license key.

   

   If you received just a license key:

   1. If there is a checkbox labeled A username was provided with my license key, then make sure this option is unchecked as shown below.

      

   2. If there is no checkbox as shown below, then enter Anonymous in the Username: field.

      

   3. Enter your license key in the License key: field.
3. Click on the Verify License button. The message This is a valid license should appear in the top left corner of the dialog box. If you don't see this message, double check that you didn't make any typos in the username or license key. Note that the username is case-sensitive.
